This book has been great for our girls! It’s a great book for older kids, but my 4 year old also loves it and seems to better understand that we aren’t the only family missing daddy. It does a great job helping us to understand our feelings, it even made me a bit emotional the 1st time we read it together.

Julia Cook, M.S. is a national award-winning children’s author, counselor, and parenting expert.
