Josh Malerman

Josh Malerman is a New York Times bestselling author and one half of the rock duo The High Strung. Their song ‘The Luck You Got’ serves as the theme song for the television show Shameless.

Malerman’s novel Bird Box was adapted into a hit Netflix film starring Sandra Bullock and John Malkovich. He has received ten Bram Stoker Award nominations and is the author of over forty books. Fourteen of these were written before the release of his debut novel, Bird Box. His fourteenth published book is The Last Great Painting.

He resides in Michigan with his wife, the artist and musician Allison Laakko, and their numerous pets.
