John J. Pearson
John J. Pearson is an Eisner Award-winning artist and illustrator based in Leeds, UK. He has established a reputation for his unique talent through a varied portfolio, creating work for clients such as DC Comics, Image Comics, Vault Comics, Z2 Comics, Heavy Metal Magazine, Netflix, WWE, Rue Morgue Magazine, The Ray Harryhausen Foundation, Burning Witches Records, and Arrow Video, among many others. Pearson is also an award-winning comic book artist, having received the 2021 Eisner Award for Best Painter / Multimedia Artist (Interior Art) alongside collaborator Anand RK for their work on Blue in Green (Image Comics).
Pearson fuses traditional drawing techniques, digital painting, and collage to produce highly detailed and darkly compelling images across a range of printed media. He combines elements of photorealism, popular culture, abstraction, and psychedelia to create a unique style and versatile approach that appeals to a wide spectrum of audiences.
John has exhibited in the UK and USA, organized extensive art experiences across the country, and produced live murals at high-profile events both independently and as part of Leeds-based art collectives.
Rhett C Bruno is a USA Today and Washington Post Bestselling & Nebula Award-Nominated Author of the ‘Black Badge Series’, ‘Children of Titan Series’, ‘Buried Goddess Saga’, ‘Vicarious’, ‘The Roach’, and ‘The Luna Missile Crisis’ (Audible Originals), among other works.

He is also the editor of the Eisner-winning PanelxPanel and the voice behind Strip Panel Naked.
