About The Author
Jochen Kieninger
Dr.-Ing. Jochen Kieninger studied Microsystems Engineering and wrote his Ph. D. thesis on “ElectrochemicalMicrosensor System for Cell Culture Monitoring”. He works as a Senior Scientist and Lecturer in the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) at the University of Freiburg, where he teaches on electrochemical methods, BioMEMS, and sensor technology.
The author’s current research interests comprise electrochemical sensors, biosensors, microsensors for neurotechnology, environmental monitoring, corrosion monitoring, and electrochemical methods for MEMS applications.
