Joanne Harris
Joanne Harris (OBE, FRSL)
Joanne Harris is the author of twenty novels, three cookbooks, and numerous short stories. She holds a Fellowship in the Royal Society of Literature and is an honorary Fellow of St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. From 2020 to 2024, she served as Chair of the Society of Authors. In 2022, she was awarded an OBE by the Queen. Harris was born in Barnsley, Yorkshire, and spent her childhood above her grandparents’ sweet shop.
