James Krieg

American screenwriter from Wisconsin known for writing superhero animated films and shows, particularly those based on DC Comics and Marvel Comics, including Green Lantern: The Animated Series. He has also written animated Scooby-Doo works and the 2000 animated web series Supermodels for Icebox alongside Dwayne McDuffie and Matt Wayne.

Molly Jones

Writer from the North of England with a passion for telling stories big and small. She has a big love of history, mystery, and collecting weird and wonderful copies of The Hobbit.

Paul Douglas Cornell

British writer (born 18 July 1967) who has worked in television drama and Doctor Who fiction, being the creator of one of the Doctor’s spin-off companions, Bernice Summerfield. Other British television dramas for which he has written include Robin Hood, Primeval, Casualty, Holby City, and Coronation Street. For American television, he has contributed an episode to the modern-day set Sherlock Holmes series Elementary. Cornell has also written for a number of British comics, as well as Marvel Comics and DC Comics in the United States, and has had six original novels published. He is one of only two people to be nominated for Hugo Awards in prose, comics, and TV.

Lizbeth Myles

Scottish writer and podcaster. She writes audio drama for Big Finish, and has contributed to their Doctor Who, Blake’s 7, and Survivor ranges. Her story “Peake Season” was a Scribe Award nominee. She’s a three-time Hugo Award finalist, and can be heard on Hugo Award-nominated Verity! podcast, Telefantasy Time Jump, Hammer House of Podcast, and the ENNIE Award-winning How We Roll podcast (playing a French otter). Her latest work is a book on the politics of Doctor Who: Where We Stand, Where We Fall, out now from Herne Books.

Steve Orlando

American comic book writer, known for his work for DC Comics writing characters such as Batman, Martian Manhunter, and Wonder Woman, and two series starring Midnighter, which were nominated for a GLAAD Media Award.

Bill Masuku

Award-winning Zimbabwean comic book artist and writer, currently creating Runeless for Disney Hyperion through the Kugali Ink imprint while self-publishing Captain South Africa. His afromanga Tokoloshe Hunters was published by Etan Comics with a Kickstarter that attracted 485% of the funding. Masuku has worked as a storyboard artist for Triggerfish on a Netflix project and Disney x Kugali’s 3-time Emmy Award-nominated animated series Iwájú. In 2022, Masuku was featured in Forbes Africa Under 30. Masuku was selected for the Creation Africa FOCUS in France, supported by the Institut Français, among 15 other comic book artists across Africa. He was selected as the British Council’s Design Futures Africa Storyteller for Zimbabwe, a project centered around sustainable development, the green future, and the informal economy. In 2020, Masuku was spotlighted as an up-and-coming artist during DC Comics’ global event DC Fandome.

Eliot Rahal

New York Times-acclaimed writer best known for his work in comics and his collaborations with Last Podcast on the Left, Machine Gun Kelly, and Emily Hampshire. (Credits include Hot Lunch Special, Bleed Them Dry, Madam Satan).

Sam Romesburg

Relatively new writer residing in Frederick, Maryland, excited to make his Mad Cave debut with Hound, co-written with writing partner Sam Freeman. Previously, Sam was the co-creator of the Scout Comics series Children of the Grave, the Sumerian Comics series One of Us is the Killer, and one shot Rock & Roll Hell with co-creator Ben Roberts. Outside of comics, Sam enjoys aggressive music, football, and spending time with his wife Louisa and 3-year-old son Jesse.

Sam Freeman

Co-writer of Hound with writing partner Sam Romesburg, based in Baltimore, Maryland. Along with Hound, Sam’s work can be seen in Basic Instinct with Sumerian Comics. Beyond comics, Sam is a massive fan of the Coen Brothers, his fiancée Emma, and Al Green’s The Belle Album.

Artist on Miskatonik (Aftershock), Dylan Dog (Bonelli), and Last of the Gladiators (Dynamite).

Andrea Mutti

Began his career illustrating the superheroes comic ‘DNAction’ for Xenia Edizioni. He then illustrated horror comics for Fenix. He moved over to Star Comics, where he drew stories with ‘Lazarus Ledd’ and some episodes of ‘Hammer’. Since then he’s worked with DC/Vertigo, Marvel, Mad Cave Studios, and IDW.

Rodrigo

Self-taught cartoonist who has been drawing since he can remember. At university, he studied audiovisual communication where he learned about narrative. During that time, he participated in several contests, winning several prizes. Once he finished at university he took a pre-production course in animation and his teacher signed him up for a studio where he dedicated himself to making storyboards, while he worked as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. Recently, however, he has turned his attention to comics and managed to publish his first work, “Swip Tip Kapety Kaluse”, this was followed by “El misterio de la Calle Viento”, a local project to promote the city of Marbella, and “FONDO” a strange pirates story. This year, he published “Montemar”, an adaptation of a classic Spanish story, filled with adventure, romance, monsters, and ghosts.

Lee Loughridge

Eisner and GLAAD-award winning comic book colorist who has worked for the biggest and best publishers in the business. He is notably the colorist for the 2024 Eisner award-winning comic book series SOMNA: A BEDTIME STORY, and is the creator of Image Comics’ hit new comic STANDSTILL.

Valerio Alloro

Italian colorist and illustrator who has worked with Dark Horse Comics on titles such as Ham-Let, Hotel Rem, Top Secret Service, and Small Town Spirits. For the same publisher, in collaboration with Fantasy Flight Games, he provided the colors for Arkham Horror: The Terror at the End of Time (issues 1–4). He later joined the team at Storm King Comics, contributing to works including Civilians, Tales of Science Fiction Vol. 9, Long Haul, and Dead Flowers. He also worked on the final graphic novel of the animated series Final Space, created by Olan Rogers, and contributed as colorist to Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories (#7 and Vol. 2: Scum and Villainy).
