Critics Review

An excellent book for parents and ECECs. * parenting author and educator *Would I use the book to support tamariki better understanding emotions? Yes, I definitely would. * Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand *

This book so very beautifully illustrates and captures the children’s immediate attention and takes them on a discovery of learning about emotions that children experience so often. Associating the emotions with colours gives them a pictorial representation for their recall but more importantly what happens to our bodily senses when emotions are activated. As an early years teacher this book definitely helps children learn more about their social and emotional competence and is a wonderful tool to have in your library.
