Critics Review

Some of you may be familiar with the Elm Creek Quilt books written by Jennifer Chiaverini and this book is based on the story in Circle of Quilters.

Full instructions are provided for a sampler quilt containing 100, 6” blocks which finishes at 90” square. The blocks are the same size as the other sampler quilt books in the series, such as Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler and The Loyal Union Sampler, to enable swapping between them.

Traditional and contemporary blocks use piecing, applique and foundation piecing. There are full sized templates for the foundation and applique blocks and a gallery of quilts displaying different approaches. There are no quilting instructions.

This is a beautiful sampler book ideal for block reference.
