Janice Gunner
Janice Gunner is an award winning textile artist – particularly known for her quilt art and her Shibori – in both the UK and internationally. She won the Jewel Patterson Scholarship for international Quilt Teachers in 1999, was awarded the Amy Emms MBE for services to Quilt-making in 2008 and the prestigious City & Guilds Medal for Excellence as a lecturer in 2018. Janice is a former President of The Quilters Guild of the British Isles, a member of the Contemporary Quilt group of the QGBI and a member of The Society of Designer Craftsmen. She has been teaching stitched textile techniques including patchwork, quilting and Shibori for 30 years.
