What They're Saying

Critics Review

“This is an important book and a crucial contribution to the field of the history of science and radiation exposure. It is well worth the read.” –Ana Barahona, Isis: A Journal of the History of Science Society

“In an era when many scholars remain trapped in stifling silos sealed off from non-academic communities and fearfully avoidant of addressing social questions using our tools of critical inquiry vital to the health of a democratic society, Making the Unseen Visible presents an important model of a creatively interdisciplinary and politically engaged project.” –Paul G. Nauert, Oregon Historical Quarterly
“The porosity between scholarship, activism, art, and life experience makes this work engaging and accessible to a wider readership, as well as a successful call for opening the field and building connections.” –Lucie Genay, Pacific Northwest Quarterly
