Henrietta Stickland has been creating children’s books for thirty years. She has four sons and is never happier than when she’s surrounded by them and their eccentric menagerie of animals, at home in the depths of the beautiful countryside on the Somerset/Dorset border. As well as bringing up her children, she ran a children’s publishing house for many years, where she most enjoyed ghostwriting picture book texts for unpublished illustrators, and thereby helped launch several successful careers. Passionate about the written word and engaging young children to want to read, Henrietta continues to write picture books for young children today.

Paul Stickland

Paul Stickland is an Illustrator, Author, and Designer. He has designed and illustrated everything from glove puppets to teapots, wrapping paper to greetings cards. The last twenty years have been spent deep in the world of children’s books and publishing, which he loves. There are some great characters in the world of children’s publishing and he has been very lucky to meet many of them. He has enjoyed success in many countries and has had great fun.
