About The Author
Helen McGinn
Helen McGinn London Helen McGinn is the author of the award-winning wine blog The Knackered Mother’s Wine Club, which is a weekly wine recommendation blog with a great sense of humor and a down-to-earth, highly readable tone. In 2012 she won the International Wine and Spirit Competition’s wine bloggers of the Year Award and was hired as the wine columnist by the Daily Mail (the UK’s second largest-circ newspaper). The Guardian named her blog as one of the top five to watch. She is also a Huff Po UK columnist. Helen spent a decade sourcing wines from around the world as a Tesco supermarket wine buyer (akin to being the buyer for Whole Foods in the U.S.). She now runs her own wine consultancy business from a hamlet in the countryside near London. Her desert island wine would be a bottle of 1988 vintage champagne (NOT paired with children’s leftover chicken fingers). Follow her at: @knackeredmutha /
