About The Author
Hamed Amiri
Hamed was born in Herat, Afghanistan and grew up under Taliban rule before escaping at the age of ten. Drawing on his personal experience of escaping conflict, he is now a technology professional, leader, author, and motivational speaker. He hopes that he can connect with people who face their own challenges and that his story can inspire resilience and adaptability in overcoming hardship. Hamed now lives in Wales and is a board member at a nearby college.
