Jane Plant (Author)Professor Jane Plant is a widely respected scientist, who was awarded a CBE for her work in relation to human health and in 2005 was made a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine for her books on cancer. She contracted breast cancer in 1987 at the age of 42- the disease recurred a further four times.
