What They're Saying

Critics Review

“13 Hillcrest Drive is a tough, unrelenting, heart-punch of a novel, and absolute proof that Gerald Petievich is the king of hardboiled noir.”–Robert Crais“For crime-fiction readers, it would be an egregious felony to miss one of 2025’s most exhilarating police procedural thrillers - 13 Hillcrest Drive.”

–Ali Karim, Shots Crime and Thriller Ezine

“This is the real deal. It’s got momentum, grit and authenticity, a rare combination. More importantly, at the center of 13 Hillcrest Drive is a character that could only have been drawn by an author who has been there with a badge and gun and fought the good fight. Welcome back Gerald Petievich. We’ve missed you!”–Michael Connelly

About The Author

Gerald Petievich

Gerald Petievich belongs to that tiny group of writers who came to crime fiction from careers in law enforcement. He has been an Army counterspy and a U.S. Secret Service agent, using his real life experiences to achieve verisimilitude in his fiction. His novels are known to come as close as any in the mystery- and-thriller genre to a genuine realism. Three of his novels (To Live and Die in L.A., Money Men, The Sentinel) have been produced as major motion pictures.
