‘Gripping eyewitness testimony … Once you have picked this book up, you will not put it down. Blood, guts, triumph, tragedy and true grit. Heartfelt camaraderie and brotherhood on the frontline of combat. A shocking, revelatory, visceral hellride into war and all that follows. For so many the war in Afghanistan is far from over. A must read.’ – Damien Lewis‘They may have been small in stature, but they fought like giants’ – Ross Kemp
