About The Author

Garry Jack

Garry Jack is one of the most respected figures in Australian rugby league. A standout fullback for the Balmain Tigers throughout the 1980s, he played 22 Tests for Australia and 17 State of Origin matches for New South Wales. Renowned for his courage, consistency, and attacking flair, Garry was a mainstay of the dominant Kangaroo teams of his era, including the undefeated 1986 tour of Great Britain and France. After hanging up his boots, he turned to coaching and, as a Participation/Pathways Ambassador for the NRL, he remains a passionate and insightful voice on the game he loves.
