What They're Saying
Critics Review
A brutal, thrilling take on modern superheroes that feels simultaneously classic and brand new. With Whatever Happened to the Crimson Justice, Tieri and Miranda have taken the most beloved elements of superhero myths and made something entirely their own - an epic tale of villainy, heroism and redemption. One of my favorite reads of 2025. – Scott SnyderOnce again, Frank Tieri visits the places where others dare not tread. Sign me up for more, please. – Garth EnnisWhatever Happened to the Crimson Justice? is everything you want in a comic — it’s got mystery, humor, and like Tieri — it’s very fucked up. He can make Gotham seem like Disneyland. Put it on your pull and enjoy the ride! – Gerry DugganJust got a look at WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE CRIMSON JUSTICE by Frank Tieri, Inaki Miranda & Mad Cave Studios and I’m in! A gonzo tale that calls a good, gruff hero out of retirement to face the next generation of horrific killers! This is David Chase’s vigilante noir! – Steve Orlando
