Félix Cantarovich

Félix Cantarovich

Félix Cantarovich is a Doctor of Medicine. He previously held positions as an Associate Professor at the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Lyon. He also served as a Consultant for the Transplant Service at Necker Hospital in Paris and as Professor of Transplantology and Director of the Postgraduate Course at the Catholic University Argentina.

Dr. Cantarovich founded the Argentine Transplant Program and was the secretary of the International Transplant Society. He has been recognized as a Pioneer in Transplants by both the International Transplant Society and the Latin American Transplant Society. He also served as an advisor in Xenotransplantation to His Holiness John Paul II.

With over 100 published works in transplantology, he is also the editor of Advances in Acute Renal Failure. His current research interests focus on new proposals in social education regarding organ donation.
