CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Farley Mowat, in this beautiful tale of time spent with wild wolves, received some criticism for blending his field experience with wishful fiction, not unlike Lauren's van der Post about the same time with "The lost world of the Kalahari".
I loved both books, and they changed the way I think about "wild animals" and African anthropology respectively. If both books deploy a bit of artistic license, so what? They are lovely reads, even compelling.
Once you've read "Never cry Wolf", try "The boat that wouldn't float" by Mowat. It's a ripper yarn of the best kind, funny as hell, and mostly true, I'm sure.....
