Faith Erin Hicks

Faith Erin Hicks is an award-winning and New York Times bestselling writer and artist of over a dozen books. Her solo titles include the New York Times rave-reviewed Friends with Boys and the Eisner Award-winning The Adventures of Super Hero Girl and The Nameless City: The Divided Earth.

Among her many collaborations is the NYT bestselling graphic novel and Goodreads Choice Award winner, Pumpkinheads, with Rainbow Rowell. She drew and co-wrote the graphic novel prequel to the video game The Last of Us, which was subsequently adapted for the screen for HBO.

Hicks is a longstanding writer of Avatar: The Last Airbender graphic novels and has written scripts for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic series. Her books are frequently YALSA selections. She lives in Vancouver, B.C.
