Eric Braun
Eric Braun is a children’s author and editor who has written dozens of books on a wide range of topics. One of his books was even read by an astronaut on the International Space Station for kids on Earth to watch. Eric lives in Minneapolis with his wife, two children, and a dog who is afraid of cardboard.
Brandon Terrell (1978-2021)
Brandon Terrell was a passionate reader, Star Wars enthusiast, amazing father, son, uncle, friend, and devoted husband. He worked as an assistant director and producer on numerous independent films and commercial productions, as well as writing for The Choo Choo Bob Show. Brandon received his undergraduate degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and his Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University. A talented storyteller, Brandon authored more than 100 books for children during his career. In Brandon’s memory, consider picking up a Stephen King novel or a comic book, re-watching The Mandalorian, reading an old Hardy Boys adventure, and saving an open seat for the next Star Wars movie.
Matt Doeden
Matt Doeden is a freelance author and editor from Minnesota. He has written numerous children’s books on sports, music, current events, the military, extreme survival, and more. His books Sandy Koufax (2006) and Tom Brady: Unlikely Champion (2011) were Junior Library Guild selections. Doeden began his career as a sports writer before turning to publishing. He lives in Minnesota with his wife and two children.
Fran Bueno
Fran Bueno is a comic artist with over twenty-five years of experience. He graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and has worked on a wide variety of projects since then, illustrating for pamphlets, advertisements, children’s books, and young adult comics. In addition, he is an instructor at the O Garaxe Hermético Professional School of Comics, where he teaches traditional inking and graphic skills. He lives in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
