About The Author
Emma Outteridge
Emma Outteridge holds a double degree in English Literature and Marketing from Victoria University of Wellington. She has over a decade of experience working on high-end international sporting events with Louis Vuitton.
Her work with Louis Vuitton, including involvement with the America’s Cup and other international sailing events, has led her to collaborate closely with influential, well-known, and wealthy individuals. Many of these individuals have become passionate supporters of her cause in Uganda, following her stories and actively promoting her work.
Emma founded the Kiwi Sponsorships program, which has facilitated the education of over 70 children in Uganda. She also established the Suubi Sanyu fund, a micro-loan fund for students. Currently, she serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for KAASO, an organization that dispatches volunteers globally to the school each year.
Emma resides in Auckland, New Zealand, with her husband, America’s Cup skipper and Olympic gold medallist Nathan Outteridge, and their two children.
