About The Author
Emily Hawkins
Emily Hawkins is a full-time author, formerly a children’s book editor. Her work has appeared on The New York Times bestseller list, including Oceanology (2009), and she won the Children’s Travel Book of the Year Award for Atlas of Animal Adventures (2016). With a background in children’s non-fiction, Emily also has a keen interest in myth, folklore, and storytelling. Her 2020 book, A Natural History of Fairies, has been translated into twelve languages and sold over 100,000 copies globally. Emily holds a first-class English degree from Nottingham University and resides in Winchester, UK.
Lauren Baldo is an illustrator based in the Philippines. He has experience as a storyboard artist, comic artist, graphic designer, and children’s book illustrator.
