Critics Review
Oh wow. Please do yourself a favour and read this book. I loved every page of Emily Crane’s punchy, provocative, energised, joyful musings. Musings which cover everything from Homer to childhood to pigeons. There are heavy themes - suicide, sexism, the horrors of the world but because of the lively and passionate way it is written, you are happy to take the ride. It’s a book to entertain you and to argue with you and agree with you. In non fiction there are two types of book - ones that give you interesting facts, and ones which aim to entertain or nourish via opinion. This manages to do both. I loved it. – Matt Haig
