Critics Review

“Perfect for gifting, re-gifting, or leaving casually on your coffee table to start awkward conversations, Tchotchkes and Their F*cked-Up Thoughts is the kind of book that turns casual readers into obsessive show-and-tellers. You’ll want to read excerpts aloud at parties (or at least to your refrigerator magnets).” – Gail Pink, WorleyGig.comTchotchkes and their F*cked-Up Thoughts would make a great gift to any friend (with a sense of humour) who’s a collector of things, or to any friend who has judged others’ collections of things. It’s snarky, a little dark at times, but will bring many chuckles and laughs. * The Jewish Independent *“Does hearing our perfectly encapsulated doubting dialogue and feelings reflected by our counter decorations make us feel better? I talk to my desk accoutrements daily, and I like to think this book justifies cluttering our lives with meaningful baubles and sentimental stuffies. Perhaps I’m just nostalgic, but mostly, I am glad I do not own a decorative sword.” – Joe Biel, founder and CEO of Microcosm Publishing and author of Make a Zine: Start Your Own Publishing Revolution and A People’s Guide to Publishing.“Cheeky, delightful … an uproarious gift book that’s sure to leave all kinds of collectors amused and chagrined.” * Foreword Reviews *
