About The Author
Edward Gorey
Edward Gorey (1925-2000) was an author and illustrator known for popular works like The Doubtful Guest, The Gashlycrumb Tinies, and The Headless Bust. He also achieved success as a set and costume designer, winning a Tony Award for his Broadway production of Edward Gorey’s Dracula. Since 1980, animated sequences of his work have been featured as the introduction to the PBS series Mystery!.
