We use and reuse the word “gospel” until gradually we empty it of its meaning.Eddie Byun has given us a renewed definition of this fundamental idea thatwill serve the church for decades.
– Michael Card, award-winning recording artist and authorEddie Byun has written a vital resource for the modern leader. By offering apractical, gospel-centered strategy, he shows us how to navigate the fine linebetween God-given ambition and worldly distortion. This book is a rare blendof deep biblical conviction and years of hard-won experience. It is essentialreading for any leader looking to lead with humility, stay energized for the longhaul and keep their ministry rooted in the grace of the Spirit
– Chris Brauns, Lead pastor of the Red Brick Church in Stillman Valley, IL and author of Unpacking ForgivenessHaving finished Gospel Integrity, I find myself deeply grateful for this timelywork. In an era where the church is often characterized by hypocrisy orlegalism, Eddie Byun offers a much-needed course correction. With humilityand compassion, he speaks to the misplaced priorities and affections thatquiet our witness, offering not a new self-help technique, but the transformingpower of grace. This book is a clarion call for pastors to inhabit the very gospelthey preach and an invitation for every Christian to let that gospel permeateevery corner of their lives. By empowering us to confront the idols in our heartsand culture, Byun reminds us that our only hope for genuine discipleship isthe gospel itself. It is a book that truly glorifies Jesus.
– Jonathan Lundy, Professor of NT, Talbot School of TheologyFor every weary heart and searching soul, this book flows like a river of grace- reviving, restoring, and gently leading us back to the gospel. It does notburden the reader with formulas or performance but invites us to rest againin the finished work of Christ.
