About The Author
Edda Magnus
Nina Bjork Jonsdottir is an Icelandic diplomat, former tour guide, and journalist. She was born and raised in Iceland but has spent a quarter of her life abroad, studying and working in various European countries. Nina is the author of the children’s book Islandsdtur (Daughters of Iceland), which was published in 2020 and focuses on Icelandic heroines throughout history. She currently lives in Reykjavik with her two children.
Edda Magnus is an Icelandic-British global health expert specializing in vaccines. Since leaving Iceland in 1996, she has frequently shared details about her homeland with international friends and colleagues. Edda resides in Geneva, Switzerland, with her husband and two children.
