Dick Scott
Dick Scott was born in Palmerston North in 1923. After graduating from Massey College, he share-milked in a Maori farming community at Kai Iwi before pursuing a career as a journalist and historian. An award-winning author of many books, in 2007 Scott was awarded a Prime Minister’s Award for Literary Achievement (Non-fiction).
