Desmond Morris

Born in 1928, Desmond Morris was educated at Birmingham and Oxford universities. He served as the Curator of Mammals at London Zoo from 1959 for eight years.

In 1967, he published The Naked Ape, a seminal work that has sold over 10 million copies worldwide and significantly altered perceptions of the human species.
