About The Author
Derek Taylor
Derek Taylor, OBE, has a history degree from Cambridge University and has spent his working life in the hotel industry. As well as British Chief Rabbis 1664-2006 and Don Pacifico: The Acceptable Face of Gunboat Diplomacy, he has written a number of histories of British hotels and has published a number of textbooks. He is currently working on a biography of Solomon Schonfeld. He is married, with four children and twelve grandchildren.Greville (Lord) Janner was Labour MP for part of Leicester, from 1970-1997. He is a QC who has been the author of sixty-seven books, mainly on law and public speaking. A former President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, he has long been a leader of Britain’s Jewish community.
