About The Author
Demi Taylor
Chris Nelson started surfing England’s northeast coast in the late 1980s and has scoured the globe for empty, frigid waves ever since. He founded two of the UK’s most influential boardsports magazines, has penned seven books on surfing including the critically acclaimed Cold Water Souls, and contributes to surf media across the world, as well as national magazines, newspaper and broadcast media on surf culture and travel issues.
Demi Taylor is co-founder and Creative Director of the London Surf/Film Festival, as well as a surf and travel writer. Her journeys have taken her from the frosty beaches of Norway to Central America but her home break in Cornwall remains a firm favourite. She has authored six best-selling surf books including Surfing Europe and Surfing Britain. She contributes regularly to mainstream press around the globe.
