Critics Review
★ “A stellar tribute to the beauty of communities too often misunderstood and unfairly maligned.” —Kirkus Reviews, starred review
★ “Brown’s rhythmic prose holds the cadence and complexity of a bustling and vibrant urban environment, while Uchendu’s illustrations, nearly audible, show its joy, playfulness, and movement….and the fun that can come from the imagination.” —Quill & Quire, starred review
“A beautiful love letter to big brothers who lovingly care for their younger siblings….this would also make a nice lapsit story for an older sibling to read to a younger one.” —The Bulletin
