Debbie Argue

Debbie Argue is a specialist in human evolution and an archaeologist. She is an honorary lecturer in the School of Archaeology and Anthropology at the Australian National University, Canberra. Argue’s academic publications about the 1-metre tall hominin species Homo floresiensis (nicknamed the ‘hobbit’) are widely reported internationally. Argue has studied collections of million-year-old fossil hominin bones in museums in Africa, Europe and Indonesia and has contributed to books and written articles for Cosmos, Anthropology Today and Science Breaker.
