Related and familiar orchids, such as the sarcanths, are grouped together to make identification easier. Within each grouping, the genera and species are mostly arranged alphabetically, however, in some large or complex genera, such as Sarcochilus, related or similar species are grouped together to assist with identification. In short, this book is the ideal companion to take into the field for any orchid enthusiast.
About the Author
David L. Jones has had an interest in flora, and particularly orchids, for more than half a century.In 2001 he was presented with the Australian Orchid Foundation's prestigious ' Award of Honour' in recognition of his enormous contribution to the study of orchids in Australia and internationally.
