About The Author
David Fairhall
Peter Rodgers learned to sail in dinghies and has completed three Fastnet races, two as navigator. He has cruised his own boats for many years and crewed and chartered in the Mediterranean and elsewhere. He passed his Offshore Yachtmaster before electronics became commonplace.
David Fairhall has been sailing for over fifty years in a variety of vessels, from Dragons to Thames barges. He has raced offshore, including skippering a boat in the Fastnet Race, and has made numerous transatlantic ocean deliveries.
The late Mike Peyton is widely recognized as the foremost yachting cartoonist.
