About The Author

Daniel Way

Daniel Way is one of Marvel’s most prolific and influential writers, known for defining stories featuring popular characters. He is best recognized for his extensive work on Ghost Rider and Deadpool, as well as his contributions to Wolverine: Origins and Dark Wolverine (co-written with Marjorie Liu). Way has also explored darker aspects of the Marvel Universe with projects like Starr the Slayer, the introduction of Hit-Monkey, Bullseye: Greatest Hits, and explorations of Sabretooth and Nighthawk. He also added Deadpool to the reinvented Thunderbolts roster.

Steve Dillon began his professional art career at 16, with his first published work appearing in the UK’s Hulk Weekly magazine. He developed his skills on the acclaimed 2000AD before collaborating with writer Garth Ennis on DC/Vertigo’s Hellblazer. Their critically praised work led to their iconic partnership on Preacher, which later became an AMC television series. Following Preacher’s success, Dillon reunited with Ennis for a revival of Marvel’s Punisher. Dillon also illustrated Wolverine: Origins for Daniel Way, as well as Punisher: War Zone for Ennis, Ultimate Avengers for Mark Millar, and PunisherMAX for Jason Aaron. He later drew Frank Castle again for Marvel NOW!’s relaunched Thunderbolts and The Punisher in the All-New, All-Different Marvel line.
