Creena Mehta
Creena Mehta is a Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, based in Vancouver, Canada. Over 25 years in the software industry, she has built and led high-performing engineering teams across five companies and three continents. She began her career in Indore, India, and has worked at organizations including Intel, Cisco, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Microsoft.
In her current role, she leads PowerPoint Live (PPTL), the feature that allows millions of presenters to share slides directly within Microsoft Teams meetings. Previously, she was involved in shipping features such as Teams Video Clips and Bing Visual Search in Photos.
While at Microsoft India, she led cross-geo engineering for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service, significantly improving customer satisfaction within months and launching key features like Inspections and ML-based Similar Case Prediction. She also contributed to Project Service and Customer Service in various roles at Microsoft Bangalore.
Creena holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from IIT Bombay, where her research focused on machine learning and data mining.
