Summary

Epigenetic Regulation in Overcoming Chemo-Resistance

Chemotherapy is a cornerstone of cancer treatment, but its effectiveness is often limited by the development of drug resistance. Epigenetic mechanisms, which involve heritable changes in gene expression that occur without alterations to the underlying DNA sequence, are increasingly recognized as critical players in the emergence and maintenance of chemo-resistance.
