Commander Julie makes one last attempt to find other beings in the universe in this gorgeous new picture book by Savage. * The Bookseller *
Journey into deep space and discover a new alien race in this exciting picture book story from Chloe Savage… The Search for Our Cosmic Neighbours is part of the excellent Hidden Wonders series for children featuring award-winning picture book adventures where science meets myth and magic, making STEM topics accessible to all children. – Pam Norfolk * Lancashire Post *
Whilst the immersive illustrations are sure to engage readers of all ages, this is a title perhaps best shared with a slightly older audience – offering the opportunity to discuss the more philosophical questions the title raises and consider how they might adopt a little of what the astronauts learn. It offers slightly older readers too, a timely reminder that you are never too old to enjoy a picture book and to ‘stay a little longer’ in an alternative world as readers are invited to do at the end of the story. – Anna Rushall * Books for Keeps *

It’s great to see how the book celebrates scientific roles, particularly women in STEM such as the astrobotanist, Lata and of course, Julia the mission’s astrobiologist. It’s great as well that the story will certainly have readers pondering on and discussing what it means to exist in the vast universe.
A book that definitely deserves to be on family bookshelves, in classroom libraries and anywhere else that young people come together.
