About The Author
Charles Soule
Charles Soule
Based in Brooklyn, New York, Charles Soule has written novels, comics, screenplays, and stories of all types. Also a musician and an attorney, Soule somehow finds time to be one of the busiest writers in comics. Among his Marvel credits are Thunderbolts, She-Hulk, and the landmark Death of Wolverine, as well as its immediate follow-up (Wolverines) and its eventual sequel (Return of Wolverine). Soule brought his legal expertise to the pages of Daredevil and assembled a blockbuster squad in Astonishing X-Men. Following solo series starring Darth Vader, Lando Calrissian, and Poe Dameron, Soule turned his attention to the iconic rebel crew in a new volume of the flagship Star Wars title, and he was one of the select group of authors chosen to chart the unseen era of the High Republic.
Marc Guggenheim
A veteran TV writer, Marc Guggenheim has scribed episodes of The Practice, Law & Order, and Brothers & Sisters; created the series Eli Stone; and served as a writer/producer for FlashForward and executive producer on the highly successful Arrow. In the world of comics, he came on strong with memorable work on Blade, Wolverine, Amazing Spider-Man, and Young X-Men. Subsequent Marvel credits include X-Men, the Secret Wars limited series Squadron Sinister and X-Tinction Agenda, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for All-New, All-Different Marvel.
Luke Ross
Brazilian artist Luke Ross has been drawing comics since the early ‘90s, proving himself an able stylist of super-hero action on titles such as X-Man, Sensational Spider-Man, Green Lantern, and JSA. Ross stepped in for Mike Perkins as foil to Steve Epting on writer Ed Brubaker’s Captain America and joined a rotation of Marvel’s top artists on the thrice-monthly Amazing Spider-Man. His other Marvel credits include Secret Avengers, Dark Tower—The Gunslinger—The Little Sisters of Eluria, Star Wars—Darth Maul, and Star Wars—Thrawn.
Salva Espin
Artist Salva Espin worked in animation and video-game design before making his Marvel debut on World War Hulk—Damage Control; he also provided cover and interior artwork for Wolverine—First Class and Incredible Hercules early in his Marvel career. Espin has since been the series artist on Exiles with writer Jeff Parker, Generation Hope with Kieron Gillen, and Deadpool with Daniel Way. He returned to the Merc with a Mouth with Deadpool vs. Carnage and Deadpool & the Mercs for Money.
