Cally Beaton is a comedian, keynote speaker, awards host, business leader, podcaster, writer, and entrepreneur. She has held senior management positions at some of the biggest media companies in the world. Early in her career, she headed an independent television production company that was bought by ITV, becoming the youngest and only female member of its board. She later established an award-winning creative consultancy, Road Trip Media, and spent ten years as Senior Vice President at the US studio giant ViacomCBS, playing a role in bringing South Park and SpongeBob SquarePants to the world.

Cally was inspired to pursue performance after a conversation with the late Joan Rivers. She first took to the stage at 45 as a single parent and made her debut on the BBC’s Live at the Apollo at 53, establishing herself as a prominent stand-up comedian.

She is a regular panellist on BBC2’s QI and The Apprentice: You’re Fired, and has appeared on Countdown’s Dictionary Corner, Richard Osman’s House of Games, Pointless Celebrities, and The Blame Game. Cally is also a frequent contributor on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, Times Radio, Scala Radio, and BBC London. Her writing has been featured in The Guardian and The Financial Times, and she holds a Masters in Neuro Linguistic Programming.

In 2021, she launched her successful podcast, ‘Namaste Motherf*ckers’, featuring celebrity guests such as Miriam Margolyes, Sir Grayson Perry, Sally Phillips, Deborah Meaden, Kirsty Wark, Omid Djalili, Susie Dent, Esther Rantzen, Paloma Faith, and the Reverend Richard Coles.

Her popular Instagram reels have garnered over 100 million views.
