Brooke Hartman
Brooke Hartman is an Alaskan mom and author of fun books for kids, including The Littlest Airplane, Cute Animals That Could Kill You Dead, and many more! Her books have received starred reviews from Kirkus and School Library Journal, been selected for Alaska’s Battle of the Books and the Redbud Read-Aloud award, and nominated for multiple best books of the year lists. When she isn’t writing, you can find her flying, fishing, fly fishing, and having fun with her family, enjoying all the magic Alaska life has to offer.
Can Tuğrul is a children’s book illustrator, historical medal collector, protector of street cats, and wanderer of flea markets. He is the author and illustrator of The Most Courageous Sailor in the World, which was nominated for an Independent Press Award, as well as the illustrator of What Do Scientists Do? and The Story of Fred Rogers. He loves collecting postcards, watching science fiction movies, and exploring new places. He lives in Ayvalık, Turkey, a small seaside town overlooking the Aegean Sea, which inspires his drawings every day.
