What They're Saying

Critics Review

“Brad Hambrick is a master of organization, strategy, and processes. False Love applies that mastery in a focused way to address sexual sin. In the past, I’ve steered people away from ‘sin-focused’ group counseling because of the common pitfalls that accompany many of them. False Love has changed my mind. With the wisdom and practical guidance of this excellent resource, groups helping people deal with sexual sin will not only avoid those pitfalls but can be a fount of encouragement and growth. Both as a counselor and as a sinner, I wish I’d had False Love years ago.”
Curtis Solomon, Executive Director, The Biblical Counseling Coalition; program coordinator and assistant professor of biblical counseling, Boyce College; author of Redeem Your Marriage and I Have PTSD; cofounder, Solomon Soul Care and the Sentinel Institute

“Brad Hambrick has gifted us with a resource for tackling sexual addiction that is biblically sound and immensely practical. The journey out of addiction is often frustrating and lonely. False Love is like having a wise guide by your side every step of the way. I will be recommending and using this resource as a pastor and counselor.”
Winston T. Smith, Pastor, St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Abington, PA; former senior faculty member, CCEF; author of Marriage Matters and coauthor of Untangling Emotions

“We found the False Love and True Betrayal group curriculum to be extremely beneficial for both the betrayed and the betrayer. Brad Hambrick’s unique approach takes both spouses on an individual journey to self-awareness and healing. If you’re wondering, How did we get here? and What do we do next?, this may be just what God has in mind for you. We can tell you, thirty-plus years post infidelity recovery, that healing is possible and worth every effort it takes.”
Gary and Mona Shriver, Cofounders, Hope & Healing Ministries, Inc.; coauthors of Unfaithful: Hope & Healing after Infidelity

“With skill and precision, Brad Hambrick has given the church a much-needed road map to recovery and reconciliation from sexual sin and its disastrous effects. It’s one thing to want to be reconciled after moral failure; it’s another thing to know the way. False Love points the way forward and provides the confidence needed by all involved.”
Joshua Waulk, Executive Director, Baylight Counseling

“I have been serving as a men’s purity leader for nearly fourteen years, and I’ve witnessed many men experience freedom from sexual sin and develop a true relationship with Jesus. This book provides a comprehensive way to understand the depth and impact of sin, guides participants to the cross, and helps them walk with the Lord in purity, repentance, and freedom.”
Ryan Silvey, G4 Men’s Purity Leader
