In 2019, she was awarded the prestigious Dr. Rogers Prize, a national award given every two years in Canada for research or clinical work in complementary, alternative, integrative health. She lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Julia J Rucklidge (Author) JULIA J. RUCKLIDGE, PhD is a Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. She was named in the top 100 Most Influential Women in New Zealand in 2018. Her 2014 TEDx talk has been viewed over 1.5 million times.

Amazingly detailed book, easy to read and full of lots of useful information. It explains a lot and their scientific findings are not based on anecdotal evidence even though there are a few anecdotes.

This is well written and researched. I particularly like the inclusion of NZ and Australian research - seems more relevant to our part of the world. Full of practical tips as well that can be applied in our family situations.
