What They're Saying

Critics Review

Tomorrow’s Steven Spielbergs and George Lucases will thrill their audiences with the stories of today’s climate heroes. To get a sense of who they are and what they are trying to do, read this book—then help the spotlighted solutions cool our planet’s fevered brow. – John Elkington, cofounder of Environmental Data Services (ENDS), SustainAbility, and Volans and author of twenty-one books including “Green Swans” and “Tickling Sharks”
This volume represents the triple crown of publishing. One of those remarkable books that is incredibly readable, relatively comprehensive, and usable for novice and expert alike. Indeed, if one were choosing a single volume on the state of our struggle against an increasingly destabilized global climate to send to policy makers, this would be the book. – Steven A. Leibo, PhD, professor emeritus, Russell Sage College; former research associate, Harvard University; international affairs analyst, Northeast Public Radio; and mentor, the Climate Reality Project
If, like me, you sometimes are hard pressed to feel hopeful that those with the power to change will do so in time to avoid the total erasure of places and societies on this planet, you will be heartened to know that a range of experts from various fields have sensible, practical solutions that are already here or could be put in place by businesses and governments if we push them to act now. You will find much to engage you here. – Mary D. Nichols, former Chair of the California Air Resources Board
