Author Biographies
Dr. Bhupendra Gopalbhai Prajapati is a Professor (Research Cadre) at Parul Institute of Pharmacy, Parul University, Gujarat, India, and serves as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Industrial Pharmacy at Silpakorn University, Thailand. His expertise spans lipid-based formulations, nano- and microparticulate drug delivery systems, and strategies to enhance drug bioavailability. Dr. Prajapati has received numerous academic and professional honors for his teaching and research excellence. He has made significant scholarly contributions through research and review publications, book chapters, and edited volumes in pharmaceutical sciences. He actively mentors postgraduate and doctoral students, supporting research training in advanced drug delivery and formulation science. Dr. Prajapati also holds editorial and section-editor roles for international scientific publications, contributing to the dissemination of pharmaceutical research.
Dr. Devesh U. Kapoor is a Professor of Pharmaceutics at Dr. Dayaram Patel Pharmacy College, Bardoli, Gujarat, affiliated with Gujarat Technological University. His academic and research interests include pharmaceutics, nanodrug delivery, and modified-release drug delivery systems. Dr. Kapoor has a substantial publication record, including research and review articles, book chapters, and edited volumes with international publishers. He actively supervises postgraduate and doctoral research in advanced drug delivery technologies. His editorial experience includes senior roles for international journals in pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and biomedical sciences, and he regularly peer-reviews for a wide range of scientific journals. Dr. Kapoor has secured competitive research and academic development funding and is a frequent invited speaker at national scientific meetings, workshops, and academic programs.
Currently, Dr. Kapoor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Previously, he was a Post-Doctoral Scholar at the School of Medicine, University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA. His research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer chemoprevention and chemotherapy-induced vital organ toxicity, and their prevention using natural and synthetic compounds through in-vivo and in-vitro models. He has published over 130 research articles, reviews, and book chapters in highly reputable international journals.
Dr. Anand Krishnan is a Principal Investigator in Chemical Pathology at the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of the Free State, South Africa. He leads the Precision Medicine Integrative Nano Diagnostics (P-MIND) laboratories, focusing on the biological functions of extracellular vesicles (EVs) in synthetic biology. His research interests include cell surface protein modification, biomarker discovery using EVs from liquid biopsies, and the role of circulating biomarkers in disease development and stem cell biology. Dr. Krishnan has authored over 150 articles and edited eight books published by prominent international publishers. He has received the National Research Foundation (NRF) rating for Next Generation Researchers in South Africa and was recognized among the Top 2% of the most influential scientists worldwide by Stanford University. He is an active member of the International Society of Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV), the African Organisation for Research and Training in Cancer (AORTIC), and the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR). He currently serves as an editor for the eLife journal, focusing on the Africa region.
