About the Author
Benjamin Percy is an acclaimed author and screenwriter who made his comic book debut in 2014 with a two-issue story arc in DC Comics’ Detective Comics, featuring Batman. He has since contributed to a variety of DC titles, including Nightwing, Green Arrow, and Teen Titans, as well as Dynamite Entertainment’s James Bond: Black Box.
Percy’s work also extends to Marvel Comics, where he wrote two seasons of the critically acclaimed podcast series Wolverine: The Long Night, which was recognized by Apple as a top fifteen podcast of the year and won the iHeart Radio Award for best scripted podcast in 2018. He also penned Wolverine: The Lost Trail. In print, Percy was a significant voice during Marvel’s Krakoan Era, writing X-Force and Wolverine. He revitalized Ghost Rider with a dark new take and brought Marvel heroes into conflict with the iconic movie hunters in Predators. Following the success of the Hellverine concept in his Wolverine/Ghost Rider: Weapons of Vengeance crossover, Percy launched both a limited and an ongoing Hellverine series, with Wolverine’s son, Akihiro, taking on the mantle. He was also the ideal writer to unite the unlikely duo in Deadpool/Wolverine.
About the Artist
Cory Smith is a Marvel mainstay known for his work on high-profile titles such as Avengers, Conan the Barbarian, and Guardians of the Galaxy. After contributing to Weapon H and Nova, as well as one-shots within the Star Wars “Age of Republic” series, Smith collaborated with writer Benjamin Percy on a dark relaunch of Ghost Rider. He later partnered with writer Ryan North on Fantastic Four.
