About The Author
Aunty Fay Muir
Aunty Fay Muir is a senior Boon Wurrung and Wamba Wamba Elder, First Nations community leader, and Koori Court Elder. She is a Language Specialist, working as a prison educator in First Nations languages, and is a creative language revival consultant and collaborator.
Sue Lawson’s books have won the Australian Family Therapists’ Award for Children’s Literature and have been short-listed for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards and the Children’s Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Awards.
Leanne Jones is a contemporary Indigenous Australian Artist. She is a Dharug, Wirradjuri Nyaampa woman who lives and creates on Dharug Country. Deeply connected to her Culture, Country, and Community, she has been creating art from a young age and has won many awards. Her paintings are representational, telling stories of Place, Family, History, and Culture.
